I have recently got a sony ericsson T300 and i have been sent an mms but my fone keeps on saying Network or communication error please check ure settings and try again so i got orange to send me the settings again and it still doesnt work so has anyone got any ideas why please help!!!

They may have sent you the settings but not activated MMS on your account. That's usually the message you get if you don't have GPRS attached to your account (part of the MMS bundle)
Try sending yourself the settings from the SE UK website on their MMS configurator. If that doesn't work, call Orange again on 156 and ask them if MMS is set up properly on your account.

dave do you work for orange??? - it does sound as if the MMS product is not activated on your sim card - if you are sure your MMS account s set to the Orange profile
