How is everyone that has a hissing phone getting it sorted? Do we know if SE (or vodafone) has officially informed all the retailers of the problem, and therefore is it just a case of returning it the store and getting it exchanged. I've heard of people sending their phones to the SE service centres. Annoyingly, I tested my T610 in the shop and it seemed fine. Obviously I didn't realise how much background noise there was in the store, as on the first call I made from home, the hissing was pretty evident.

I am thinking about sending mine to Sony Ericsson...because for what we paid for the T610...we deserve only the best. I know that the hissing isn't a major problem...but it is there...and for what we pay...we deserve to have it fixed.
