> GIF animation on SE T310

This issue relates to playing of a large GIF animation (about 100 KB) from PC to the SE T310. I am able to download the animation fully to the phone. But all I see on the phone is a small square. On the other hand a GIF of about 25 KB plays alright on this phone. What could be the problem? The whitepaper puts no restriction on the size of the GIF animation. It says that it is limited only by memory.

You have to set the size 101X80. Your image is probably to big...

dude, go into the My Pictures screen, where u see the small white square, den let ur phone sit around a bit there. it needs sometime to load, tts all. by the way, it will take up, say, another 100kb =) to load the gif. something to do with loading every frame.

I had waited for nearly 4 to 5 minutes, but the animation did not play. I had more than 400 KB blank space.

dudez, this is the ONLY solution. and by the way, u HAVE to wait in the My Pictures screen, where u can see the thing. else it wont work. juz open My Picures before ur dinner, throw it on ur bed, go eat, and den come back to it. by then, it should be ok.
