yeah, it's free, i highly doubt you'll need any docs, make a backup of your stuf JUST IN CASE, and they might have to send it off for a week or 2, depends which store you go to.

You don't need any documentation, they simply scan the barcode underneath the battery to verify that it is still within warranty. This message was posted from a T68i

hmm, i beg to differ....

CPW in manchester want proof of purchase if the phone was not originally purchased from them.... they told me this before they even looked at my phone....

it could be that this particular service centre is just jammy... but if i were you, just take summit with you, just incase.....

Hi all,

CPW Repair Centres will want the Proof of Purchase if not bought from them. There may be some inconsistency (some might not demand it) as there aren't any P800s out of warranty in the UK. Less than a year old etc....

But generally, they will require POP, to do any repairs or FW upgrades.

CPW in Leeds didnt ask to see anything at all! I walked in with my baby, sed I needed the upgrade and....1.5 hours I walked out with R2D!

Guess it depends on where u r then bcoz mine wasnt purchased from them..mine was from SE.com.

Hmm, I bought my P800 off E-Bay and although it didn't come with a receipt I kept all documentation of the deal.
