I have put the correct URL in under Messaging > Picture > Options > Message Server
I've tried connecting via GPRS & WAP but neither work. I receive the test MMS message but when I open it it says 'Communication Error'.

Anyone else had the same problem, or anyone know why this is happening?

It sounds to me like you have an incorrect URL. What are you trying to use?

And just to check, you have signed up for the service haven't you?

Same problem here. To all in doubt - yes, I've registered for GPRS and MMS and yes, I have got all the settings correct - via sonyericsson.com set-up messages.

The phone won't send MMS or connect to GPRS (which, I presume is the cause for the MMS fault as well) showing the 'communication error' message.

Jellyellie - is you phone unlocked or just sim-free? I've heard that this is the problem of the unlocked phones related to the fact that the operator embed their stupid settings in such a way, that phone remains locked to certain services even when proper OFFICIAL unlock is done.

Any ideas how to resolve this? Is there a way to reset the memory (not the built-in 'master reset' - doesn't work) so that all settings - including the remnants of provider branding (pics, logos, etc.) - are gone?

Have u tried sending? Have u had it working b4 on ur t300? Just wondering if u have the right wap profile setup. I'm on orange and the only way to send and receive is to use the ericsson wap gateway cus orange have blocked Nowmms from their gateways. This message was posted from a T68i
