my t68i crashed last night when i recieved a txt, I had to pull the battery out to get it going again but since then whenever I recieve or send a message to someone in the phonebook it wont recognise the name, it just shows the number. As u can imagine this is slightly annoying as I dont know who the hell is txtin me! Ive left the phone off for a couple of hours, taken the battery and sim out etc but nothin seems to cure it. anyone had this happen to them before? Any idea what I can do to cure it? Please help!

Try transfering all phone numbers to sim, delete all the phones contacts and then transfer the contacts back to the phone from the sim card.

My t68i did better yesterday: i recieved sms the same moment the "big clock" was moving. SMS popup appeard, but it was black, and with 2 big clocks, one uder another (one showed 10.09 and another 10.10). After i pulled the battery out, the phone wouldn't start - backlight was working, but the screen was black. Had to leave the battery out for 15 minutes untill it started to work again.

right ive sorted it now, i tried copying all the numbers to the sim but when i checked the sim there was only a few of my numbers there. strange I thought so i checked the memory status and it said I only had 16 contacts in the phone (should be 64)! it seems like the numbers have been deleted from the memory but they still show in the phonebook if u search! luckily I have two phones so all my numbers were on the other one. I just deleted all contacts in the T68i and spent the next hour or so typing them all in again lol. what fun!
problem solved now, works fine again.

Could you not have just beamed your phone book from the other phone to the T68i?
