Hi, I think we should petition to Sony Ericsson to allow us ( T68i users ) to upgrade our screens to 65,000 colours !!! That can increase the sales of its MCA-25 and also earn extra revenue of loyal T68i users, so they have a better reason to listen to us!! T68i is really perfect if it has 65,000 colours!!
I think that is possible, but of course we need to cough out some cash! i dont wanna get the T610, still like the design of T68i !! Plus T68i offers better voice clarity and better sms --> you can press 0 to predict words, but for T610, you die die need to use the joystick!! Plus T610 no offer standby time and talktime status. Camera is also blurry, better spent money on a digital cam. Worst of all... T610 has a hissing sound...
What you guys think?

if you update the screen you'll alsow need better battery, and more memory because the background pics, take in so much more then. the T610 is an excellent phone, i tested it today and i love it. if the P800 wouldn't be on the market, this would've been the most advanced phone.

so you reckon sonyericsson are gonna put money and effort into modifying an old model? the HARDWARE upgrade will only be available at sonyericcson upgrade points, because if it was at carphone warhouse, it would invalidate any warrenties.
Its like asking nokia to put a colour screen and java in a nk402

I agree. With a better quality screen the t68i would be perfect. If i could find a screen with the correct specifications i would do it myself.

just wait untill you see and feel the T610! its far better then you can expect. okay since i saw it on the pics i liked it but not as much as when i first saw the T68 but now that i've played whit it, i just love that phone! its the first phone that is worthy of replacing the T68
