Hello, i have a sony eicsson t68i and after looking at photos of how to open the phone i decided to give it a try. While i did this a big problem has now occured, i took the battery out and then the piece above(the first step) after that i realised that it was impossible for me to open the phone because i didnt have the right screwdriver! So i then put the cover back on and then put the battery back in. As i turned the phone on i didnt have a signal(where i normally have a full bar) so then i thought i'll leave it for a while and see what happens but now that ive gone back to it all it says is"No Access" so i was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if so could you please explain to me why. I have tried turning it on and off with no avail.
Thanks.

hum... perhaps you messed up the antena. did you remove the antena cover? if so then most probably you messed up somethin there. you see the antena of a t68 is like a plastic sheet and SE only uses a kind of adhesive to stick that plastic sheet on the back casing of a t68. if you removed the antena cover, check if the conectors (underneth the antena cover) are intact. if they are and still no siganl, its time to get your phone repaired. (the antena sheet is very very CHEAP)

The antena contacts fold into that hole at the top of the phone where they are contacted by a few sprung pins (similar to the battery contacts) you may have disturbed it or got dirt in that hole. this joint is prone to failing in an old phone so its a sensitive joint.

Hi!
Quite a few users seem to be having problems with their SE T68i (slow response, poor reception, non-perfomance of some functions etc.). Is it due to poor manufacuring quality of this product? Despite much superior technical features, why else would T68i sell for a lesser price than even T310?

Any comments? Can someone please pin point specific problems in the functioning of SE T68i?
