You can't, it's designed as a battery saver. This message was posted from a Nokia

Nobody knows! they put the clock in so that they can claim longer standby times but fail to notice that everybody wants to have the option to switch it off.

The black screen saves power like the T68i.

There was written here that when you press the volume Up/Down keys the clock lights up (but the keylock stays on)

I think this is an emprovment on the T68i, where the clock was shown the hole time, but you couldnt see it very good. Now when you need to know the time, press one of those buttons and you see the time verry clear. + it saves battery power.

What is the use of a playing screensaver hole the time when the mobile is in your pocket?

I think the clock should at least be a bit brighter - like the t68i. Now I'm not sure if the phone might have switched itself off - I can't tell if it's on or off without looking very closely or pressing buttons.

well, @ least nokia users can take this as an opportunity to say that SE's phones are crap. this black scrnsvr clock thing is on their phones too. and they cant turn it on/off either.
