> T68i Permanent "Hide my number"

Is there a setting, hidden or otherwise, where you can permanently hide your phone number when dialling out, instead of adding #31# (or whatever) all the time? Just need a global setting or is this impossible?
And 'Next Call - Hide my number' isnt good enuff either. Any ideas?

I've never found a way and a quick scan through
these posts doesn't give any solution.
Perhaps you can talk to your provider and see if they can disable it from their end.

That's one place where Nokia beats Ericsson. You dont have to "hide my number" everytime u want to make a call.
BTW im both a Nokia and Ericsson User. Apart from the bluetooth prank, i still lean towards Nokia though in ratings

Well, i dont want to lose the choice of enabling/disabling it as and when i want. Know what i mean? You cant call some pple with ur number hidden. Dont want to go thro the operator everytime i temporarily need to disable the feature.. bla bla bla.

if u go thru operator i think it's going to be permanent. it used to be a year ago...so u gotta think twice:P
A trick: store the numbers of the people u don't want to see ur number, with " #31#" in front of the number without a pause. this way the guy will never see u call him.
An example of my number :
National: #31#072133...
International: #31#+4072133...
if u store my number this way , i'll never never see u callin' me

Just tried calling some1 uzin that hide my number option but it didnt work.it still děsplays my name.
