> Are all Vodafone T610 sold with a full charge?

The first one i had (took back with hissing) was sold to me with a full charge on the battery, and the second (replacement) on i tried in the shop also had a full charge (though i didn't take it and am waiting for it to be available on a non-bastardise the phone network).
Is this not dangerous or something?

Yes, I got mine with at least a 50% charge on it... I suspect they have made this a standard. Makes it easier to start playing with the phone and not have to do that old annoying "charge the phone for 24 hours"... do you guys remember that old chemical battery stuff? LOL

just to let you all know that vodafone have informed all stores to charge the phones up before they sell it so that u dont have to charge it for 16 hours. but they dont all get charged cos it takes time and if lots get sold, its best to sell an uncharged one rather than turn u away.
