Can someone please let me know if SE service centres will be able to do the repair to the T610 in time regarding the hissing ?
I would prefer to wait than to send thru post..
But getting yet another sent from CPWH tomorrow , third time lucky i hope .....

I don't believe they have all the facilities to make the adjustments required for hissing problems. From what I have gathered here on Esato, it requires a modification via hardware (some people say that firmware is all that is required) which I guess would require a service center to send it back to
directly.

I thought this was only a software problem, and if this is correct, your servicepoint schould just flash it and then it would be in tip top shape! You'd better give them a phone call and ask..

They changed 4 resistors in the phone and it works perfect now.
