> Why not Nokia 3650?
Bookmark topic
Well, if I am not bothered about the looks/ size of Nokia 3650 and the way the buttons are arranged on the phone, can anybody give me any other reason due to which I should prefer SE T610? Frankly speaking, I was floored by the features of Nokia. It scores on almost every count, barring probably the GPRS speed which seems to be faster on SE T610. Any reactions from Sony Ericsson lovers? Are there some inherent defects/ problems in Nokia 3650. It is selling for alomost 35% to 40 % lower price compared to SE T610 despite all the technical superiority seems to possess. I got a rate of even US$ 260 also on
www.ebay.com (brand new piece).

Well, I think it looks like a ridiculous little plastic toy and it's way too big for me. Other than that I think it's the best Nokia phone out there..

I agree, but can anyone tell me a better phone than Nokia 3650 of any other company anywhere in the world (barring SE P800, which costs twice as much), if one goes strictly by features alone. I would be too willing to pay more amount for better looks if I get the same functions as Nokia 3650.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure there are less known phones that can match 3650 featurewise, but I'm not very up to date when it comes to smartphones...I'm sure someone else will answer your question though... good luck with your hunt..

I too hope that someone can help me reach the right decision. Is it true that polyphonic ring tones are too soft in volume in 3650 compared to T610 and that it is not possible to transfer/ download more poyphonic ring tones on this phone?

First off, you're comparing 2 totally separate classes. The 3650 is a Symbian Sartphone. The T610 isn't. It's like comparing a 7210 to a P800.
The 3650 is what the 7650 should have been, but there are quite a couple bugs left. For example, if you fill the phone's internal 4MB memory, you can cause the phone to hang so badly you need to reformat it. Data transfers (like an Mp3 song over IR or BT) need to be able to fit into the phone's 4MB (or whatever's left) before you can move it to the external storage. The sound is mono, not stereo.
The SX1 has more features.

Use some more money and buy a P800. Then you'll have a much better phone than 3650 and SX1.... You won't regret it...
