> Problem with EricssonT60LX

Hey everyone,
I'm glad I found this site. I have an Ericsson T60LX (the one that looks like an egg).
Durring the past few months I have received many text messages from friends/etc. that I have been able to read. Every once in a while, I would recieve a text message and I would try to go to "received messages", and the phone would freeze--I was unable to do anything except turn the phone off and back on again. The only way to get rid of it was to turn it off, turn it back on, and go delete all received mail.
Anyway, this wasn't THAT big of a problem until this morning. I had my phone in my pocket and I felt it vibrate... and it didn't stop! I pulled it out of my pocket and the phone was vibrating and it was beeping non stop "buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" There was nothing on the screen except what is normaly on the screen when the keypad is locked. I turned it off and back on, and it said there was one text message. I tried to go to "received mail" and it froze again. I deleted all received mail, and thought that was the end of it! nonono! About every 5 minutes it happens again! it did it about 3 times before i got sick of it and just left the phone off. I turned it on every couple of hours today and sure enough it happened again and again, every five minutes.
Does anyone know what is wrong? (besides having an old ugly phone--yes I know I should upgrade to a new ericsson) is this fixable without reseting everything? Is that even possible? Could this be a virus, is there such a thing?
If anyone has any information it would be much appriciated. I guess I'll take it over to AT&T tomorrow--but i figured you guys/gals probably know more than my local dealer.
Thanks in advance for the help!!!
alex
