Hi im plannin 2 get a t610 soon! i reeli hav waited so long for this fone but its not released yet in the UK on o2 pay&go (what i reeli want). so i wos planning to get it on Orange pay&go and get it unlocked from the service provider. no problem with dat but i would like to know if i can get rid of the orange branding/marking on the from cover?
has anybody tried on the t610 to remove the orange logo?

The T610 isnt out on Orange yet, so you won't find anyone whos even tried to remove it.

And yes, once you do actually get your hands on one, the logo'll come off without any problems.

I'm sorry but phone Orange and they will tell you that the T610 is NOT OFFICIALLY out on Orange yet. Its not listed on any of the popular Orange retailers websites, and isn't listed on the Orange website.
The last release date I heard from Orange was July.

So he went 2 get a refund 2day from vodafone. i tried 2 remove the orange logo from my other bro's t68i but had no luck?
and i read somwer that som use laser etching 2 print the logo's and its impossible to remove? is this true? as i dont want a orange logo wen using o2.

Lewisham haven't had any in yet - I know it's showing on their website, but none of my local stores have any in yet either - nor do i expect them to. Be great if you were right, but think we'll all still be waiting a good few weeks for O to get them - and phones4u certainly won't get them before O do, as they've got to be branded and boxed up in the first place, before sale.
As for laser etching - haven't yet seen any with such logos - all Voda, T-bag & Orange logos i've removed before have been the raised transfer type. Taken them off 7650's, T68i's, P800's, T610's.... they are all the same type logo, and all come off within about half an hour of the old 'elbow grease & nail varnish remover' trick.
