> Attention all T65 owners! (standby times)

When you have just finished charging your phone... what are the standby and talk times in the status "window"?
My T65 claims
standby time: 217 h
talk time: 8 h 59 min
Now,
http://www.sonyericsson.com/T65/ says that the standby time is 300 h and talk time 11 hours. We all know that these figures that manufacturers give have never met reality but why doesn't the phone lie as much as SE? They say 300 h and the phone itself says 217 h... kinda funny, don't you think?

300h are under perfect conditions.... like you standing next to a basestation with no other objects near that interfer with the communication.....
if you read the Facts and figures,

has put up theese batterytimes:
Talk time: 2.5 - 11 hrs
Standby time: 160 - 300 hrs

The sonyericsson web site did not lie, read it again. Besides our T65 lasts a full week on a single charge, and it is not on standby - it is being used.

C'mon, there must be more T65 owners here... let's compare standby times.

At the moment, on my fully charged T65 (charged it overnight and have just unplugged it), it says:
167h Standby time
2h56m Talk time
I only get up to two bars of reception here at home (in a certain room, other areas get one to zero bars), so the battery doesn't last as long as it normally should.

As someone mentioned above, it seems to have to with wich coverage you have in your are. A bad connection drains the battery since it must check with the network more often. There also seem to do which sim-card you're using (3v or 1,5V) and what system your network provider is using.

There's a whole bunch of different things that affect your stand-by time, and many are mentioned above. Anyway, I get about 2h 17m stand-by and close to 3h talk time (don't remember excactly...-)
However, my T65 takes at least 5 hours to reach full charge - a bit long???

Charging really does take 5 hours... I don't know if it's true anymore with modern batteries but it used to be better for the battery if it was charged rather slowly.
1.5V and 3.0V means the voltage of the sim card. But I didn't know that there is a 1.5. I thought they're all 3V.
