For all of you who have the T610 on T-Mobile, please could you answer the following;
Does your phone hiss?
What is you manufacturing code? ie 03W?? this is found under the battery on the phone.
What has your experience with T-Mobile been like, regarding this phone?
I have had 2, nearly a 3rd today they all hissed. One worse than the other, except for the one today, but it was bad enough not to accept.
The manufacture code on it was 03W17. The one at Chitter Chatter Ealing was just as bad and had the same 03W17 code. Chitter Chatter are the only retailers willing to open the phone for you to test, the others say the box is sealed, so it's your risk...
Does the R2C code on the box carry any significance?
What should we all do?

I got mine on Tuesday but it hisses. I allerted them to the problem as they seemed to have no idea. The rumour is that most of the R2Cs have the hissing problem so I told them to check their warehouse stock to see what they were and the head guy thinks they're not R2C but they'll let me know on Monday.

Just spoke to customer services at T-Mobile. They told me the T610 has been withdrawn for further testing, something none of the High Street dealers know about or can confirm. My brother then rang to check this and the person he spoke to said it was out of stock but it is still available and they have not withdrawn it.
The reasons I was given were;
The picture messaging isn't working properly.
There is an audio issue being experienced by some owners.
There are other minor software issues that need to be dealt with.
