SE Support don't want to tell us the cause of this problem, they just simply said that it was the "file reading system"

Important Points:
Non-picture files did not increase in size
Error pictures doesn't increase in size
Very small pictures doesn't increase significantly in size

Conclusion:
Question: Why pictures take more space in the phone than in the PC?
Answer : Many questions asked about the "doubled" memory size for pictures
But the actual problem is, it is not doubled, but added by the size of
the maximum screen size. For example, a size of 101 X 80 picture is
added by another 101 X 80 picture for T300. For a 640 X 480 picture, it
is still added by 101 X 80 (which is the screen size). There should be
an update to this poor caching algorithm in the firmware of the mobile
phone. So, most pictures added around 8 Kilobytes in size, as the size
of the full screen image is around 8 Kilobytes. I don't know how many
bytes will be added in the new model, T610, because it has a larger screen
(128 X 160 ). It may be 9KB (if the screen uses low quality), 14 KB if the
screen is medium quality, and 31 KB if the screen is high quality.
There is a case that somebody uploaded a 9KB picture, and it became 40KB
in the phone. It adds 31KB, so, I assume that the screen uses a high
quality (low compression) for displaying images.
Solution: The phone OS developers has to work better in caching algorithm. The current
algorithm is very poor, it takes unecessarily big amount of disk space.
Just hope there will be a firmware upgrade for this problem.....
Problem has been identified, just work to debug or fix it.

very nice! But the size seems to also vary on behalf of the picture encoding. According to your tabel, small jpegs are using alot more space percentagewise than bigger jpegs.

But it's definately the picture assignment algorithms that are very ineffective. It makes me kindda mad that SE would just throw some garbage like dual-memory-clusters at us...
