The answers are:

Unless I am mistaken..the text size option has been taken away and is not present on the T610. Personally, I think the font size is just right.

And yes, the T610 does have an SMS counter. It is under: Calls, Time and Cost, Sms counter.

Hope this helped.

Agreed. I never changed the font size of my T68i but a search of the menus on the T610 and a scan of the online manual seems to confirm that there is no font option any more.

You can change font size in SE T610. Please see page 51 of the White Paper on SE T610 available on SE website.

correct, you can change the text size when writing an SMS but you cannot change the text size in the menus.

Is it true that T610 doesnt show how many chars left when writing an sms?? Does it support chain-messaging (like nokia)??

By chain messaging, do you mean concatenated messages (i.e. a group of messages of up to 160 characters one after another)?

The T610 counts you down from 23 characters left to zero. If you continue to enter text it will then beep and then display a message saying "SMS 2" etc etc...

If the font size in T610 is the same as "small" on t68i then I'm happy.
Don't like to scroll too much..
