> Should I choose T610, Nokia 7250 or Samsung??

Hi All, my sister wants to buy new mobile phone next week and she ask me to recommend her some good ones, so I recommended her T610. BUT after reading several (quite a lot actually) topics about the T610 "hissing problem" and I also heard that some of the first batch of the T610 are being sent back to their factory. That make me think twice!! now I'm confused. Should I still choose T610 or should I just recommended her nokia 7250 or samsung perhaps? Do you guys have any opinion to share with me about some good phones? Oh, by the way, my sister wants small, with built in camera phone but not the smartphones.

Well... if you already decided on the T610 but the hiss put you off then you should not change your mind to something else.
Firstly, except in the most quiet of situations you will not notice the hiss and if you wait a week or two you most certainly will be able to get a T610 that no longer has the hiss.
I have been using the T610 for a month now and apart from the hiss I have found no other issues...

i think that it is better to wait a while after t610 will be released and then see if there are still these problemes!but i think that t610 is the best! with not a lot money.

Hi! I feel that Nokia 7250 looks terrible. Look at it closely. Does it not look like an Egyptian Mummy? Nokia has developed an expertise of repelling people from even best of its phones, just because its design wing is in shambles (7250 and 3650 are only 2 examples). In terms of features also, T610 is far ahead. 7250 does not even have Bluetooth. It has an older version of Wap. Screen also is much smaller with much lesser colours. In terms of features, only Nokia 3650 scores over SE T610. And I do not think Samsung has any phone with latest communication features. So go for SE T610. Let me also assure you 'hissing' is noticeable only if you know about it in advance.

look for other models aside from the ones you mentioned. check out the new samsung models coming out now for example. you will also just expect the replies from the hardcore SE cult members here for you to choose the T610.
