I have 2 questions:

1)The SE P800 manual says that by charging the battery whenever you like doesn't affect the battery life.

2)Someone once told that by discharging an Li-polymer battery completely affects the battery life and that its not good for the bat.

Are those true?

Li-pol batteries are best topped up when you get the chance, they are most happy with that situation.
So are li-ion.
Unlike Ni-MH batteries which needed regular disscharging cycles.

I have a Li-poly in my Ipaq. I left it for 2 weeks without charge and ruined the battery. It didn't happen only to me but 2 of my friends too.

Lesson: Keep it charged all the time. It will not hurt to charge it even if it has 80% charge in it. Don't let it go below 20% as much as possible.
