Hi,
Was told this today by a mate, but if you plug in a hands free into your hissing SE T610 it will stop !!
I have tried this with my official handsfree and works a treat, so will keep this up til i get mine exchange, but that's great though !

Yeah, some of the magazine reports that people have posted links to here have quoted that the hiss problem is only when using the built in speaker and not when using headsets.
Unfortunately some people using bluetooth headsets have reported crackle in the headset although I can report my HBH-30 does not show this symptom.
