> ir Remote v.90

after installing the ir Remote v.85, the app worked great. but when the trial period is over, the app poped-up a message which tells you to enter a registration key. Since then the app doesnt work anymore. It doesnt even pop-up the message about the due of the app.
What I did was to uninstall v.85, then install v.90. But the app doesnt seem to work anymore.
Is this normal?

My guess is that the IR remote app leaves its config file somewhere in the P800 file system containing info when the app was installed thus when the trial period expires, it would remain so even after installing the most recent version.

I agree... but the app should still run the "OPTION" button in it where you can enter the reg codes.

hmm. try contacting psiloc or browse through the psiloc site to see if they have a knowledge base of some sort that could help you with your problem.

I have that problem too, its very annoying!.................It happened after I had re-entered the reg codes after expiring, now it locks up like yours.
If you find out how to solve the problem please post it here.

Hi,
U guys r lucky u even got it to work in the first place. I installed v .90 and even registered it with code, i got the program to open. i chose my device which is TV and chose brand which is SONY, but i havent been able to make it do anything. I even tried a SHARP TV, same thing. I keep pressing buttons on the remote, but nothing happens on TV. Any ideas what im doing wrong, ppplllllzzzzz!!!!
I even tried enabling infra-red, but when i tried opening program it asked me to shut down infra red first.
PLS help!!!!

you must have p800 pointed straight at the device's receiver not far away from 2-3 meters.as for the demo version i have v80 ,after some minutes of use a message pops out telling about demo version and that i must restart ir remote.restart and get it worked but only a couple minutes again.i think though a keygen is out.

yeah that key gen does f**k all. Just makes a window pop up tellin me how and when the program expires. Simply the best app allows you to have fun in electronic store display...Pump up da volume. shame about poor range.
