Just do what I did.. have it in the cradle and press update. Mine used my ADSL instead of GPRS. And I havent changed any settinsgs to surf with my P800 over my ADSL. Don't even know how to do that.

Try following:
Put ur mobike into deck as u normally do to synchronise!
Then In "WorldMate " proggy click Update Rate or forecast- whichever u prefer.
Ur mobile will start connecting to GPRS provider- let him do so, after 1 minute disconnect GPRS mobile connection and clock on Update Rate or Forecast- it should start updating without connecting to GPRS.
This is not best way to do it, but the easyest for me...
Also- use search on this forum for: "internet through PC" or "connection through PC"- something like that

I tried the both ways but it didn’t work, when I press the update it says “downloading update” then a “communication error”.
I tried this on different ISPs and I have no Opera browser installed, is there any settings or something I can do?
It’s driving me crazy
Oh ... btw I have no gprs access in my country so have no gprs account on the phone, is this effect?

I just link my P800 to my laptop via infared and it updates without a problem.

Thanks for your reply guys,
I’m trying that for 3 days and today I tried it at work (I have an auto configuration script (auto proxy) to connect to the Internet) but still not working, also through a local ISP it didn’t work (even the internet surfing through P800 is not working), what is the problem guys? Is it a proxy problem or what? …. Help

You can always email the company that makes worldmate and see what they can advise you.
