Your all going out and buying t610s knowing blatently well that they are going to hiss yet when you get them you complain that they do on here. Also why are all of you lot ordering so many t610s from the same place they are obviously all going to have the same problems!! Why dont you just wait for someone to say we have them in hiss-free? save yourself the time and hassle.

the hissing isnt so bad
it's not like it prevents u from hearing the other party
it just sounds like when u r on a cordless house phone and there is a bit of static
the other party doesnt even hear it
I've grown used to it in 2 days

if someone wants a phone quick it doesn't matter with a little hiss. When most of us P800 users got the phone while it was new, there was some issues with that too. And the 7210, T68i etc etc..

for instance, I hv to be the first one to get a phone..
so I dont care how full of bugs it is
I can always upgrade later
I rushed everyone I know in the mobile world to get their hands on a 7210 so I cld buy it..
same for the P800 and the T610
and whatda ya know? I was the first in montreal to own the P800 (I had it in december

) and the 7210 (T610 I was off by 1 week)

Yeah... Have to live with some bugs if you always want to be first...
Remember when WinXP was new... Nothing worked, but I had to use it anyway...

This hissing really isn't that bad but as I am planning on getting a second (blue) T610 as my backup phone I will then send this one off to get fixed, and the firmware updated, when that blue one arrives.

I've been waiting for more than a week now, hopefuly the coming new batches of T610 don't have the hissing problem anymore. I tested my friend's T610, yes it's not that bad but can be irritating, no hissing problem will be better.
