Hi, seems to me that you have you can only set your backlight to be on for 10 secs (auto) or two minutes (power save with backlight set to 'on'). Is there a way to set the backlight timeout to, say, 30 seconds? I find it aggravating when I'm doing something and the light turns out after 10 secs, but again, I don't need it on for a full 2 minutes especially if the phone is 'woken' in my pocket often and the potential for short battery life. I have Hand Day 3.0 but can't immediately find anything in there to change it... Thanks!

I would heartily agree with you on this one. The instruction book from Orange tells me that there is an instruction in Chapter 8 page 84 of the Manual, that explains how to extend the time that the backlight will stay on...its not there!!
I spoke to phone expert at Orange who was as baffled as me, he said he would put in a report and request info and get back to me.
Soon as I hear anything I will post it!

You can set the Light "On" with Power Save to "Clock" and "Active after" setting to 1 minute. That gives you something between 30 seconds and 1 minute.

Thanks for that buddy...I will give it a shot.
Have you seen the coolsmartphone web site? Its full of free stuff for the Microsoft/Orange SPV Smartphone. Some of it works on the SE P900.
Brilliant phone this P900 though, I thought the SPV was good !!
