I have been having a bizzare problem on my P800 in that it randomly looses approximately 2 hours of times every few days... it appears to be totally random and the SE guys keep on coming up with patronising suggestions?? Anybody with the same problem???

Yeah, I do.

It seems whenever I plug it into the PC cradle it hops forward 7 hours or so.

I havent yet updated the firmware, I'm hoping that will fix it.

Unfortunately - this problem was not solved by the upgrade in the firmware. I had mine upgraded about 2 weeks ago and I am still having the same problem. I think that it may be a hardware issue...

Just an idea, but I noticed a setting somewhere about automatically synchronising your phone time with your computer when it is connected. Are you sure you don;t have this switched on. Try right clicking on the phone icon or connection icon in the system tray and go to preferences/options or something?

Have you got the option turned on for sync with computer time when it is in the craddle. I had the problem due to the computer being in a different time zone to what the p800 was set on, therefore it was adjusting the time - also with winter / summer time settings

Thanks for the tip - which I will try... the thing is however, that this happens over weekends as well, when I don't sync my phone....
