How does the camera timer works? I turned on the timer , but no pictures are taken?

here's how the timer works... after u've activated the self-timer... u've got to PRESS the capture key or the joystick to activate the self-timer countdown... the phone will beep ascendingly as u get in position for the shot... followed by the noise u hear when u take pictures regularly...

well i did try pressing the joystick and it beeped once, but no ascending beeps ?

did u activate the self-timer? supposively the phone will beep in an ascending manner till the picture is taken... if i'm not mistaken it's a 10 sec timer...
