Still £299.99 is still very steep for a phone, i have been tempted mainly because of lack of impatience but i know i'd regret it when the good handsets reach the shops, and are less than half the price.
Still let us know what manufacturing week it is and if everything has been fixed, good luck

less than half the price? Are you expecting to pay less than £150 for a sim free T610?
The t310 sells for about £140 sim free.
Interested to know more please because my kids are keen to change their T300 for a T610 and I'm trying to convince them to get a T310!

No, i ment with a contract reduction, but hopefully one without any branding (except maybe for a small provider logo on the base) like what my local CPW sell - SE original phones then you choose what newtork to have it on.

Oh... ok... then I guess you're not really comparing prices correctly when you say half price but then I guess we could get into an argument that you are paying your monthly fee anyway etc etc...
Yeah Expansys, for example, have the T310 sim free for around £140
here and mphone
here. Not bad prices I reckon.
