I have been perservering with Ericsson for my last couple of phones (T68i at the moment) but tehy all suffer from the same stupid mechanism for attaching things to teh bottom of the phone. After a while the plastic sofens and it will only hold if its placed at a certain angle. My MP3 player was useless after 2 months because of a loose connection. Do the newer SE have a different connection? Or am I just going to have to give up and get another make which has a moe stable connection?

It is more likely that your accessories connections are weakening rather than the connection block on your phone. I have had absoloutley no problem with my t68i....(touch wood).
You do have to take some care with when connecting/disconnecting accessories though. Remember that to remove them you need to twist them out, rather than pulling them straight out.
Phones always require an element of TLC.

Phil.

I had a T68i since they where released in sweden
and use charger/flashlight/laserpointer with it so
connects/disconnects them frequently and they
are still as firm as they where when everything was new.
I'm temped to ask the same question as above do
you know your not suppose to pull them straight out
you should click them free upwards like the manual illustrates.
But if I do I'll prolly get flamed hehehee
