> T610 - known speaker problem
Bookmark topic
Hi everybody,
I just received a T610 which has the following problem:
The speaker volume is so low, I only can hear it when
pressing the phone to my ear.
Of course, the volume is set to max.
I went to a local dealer (here in Switzerland) who told me,
that this was a KNOWN PROBLEM with this model.
Can anyone confirm this?
I'll send back my T610 tomorrow.
Chris

Mines not like that, it probably has the same speaker volume as my T68i.

soft?
not at all...
most of my calls are damn loud, and i need to lower the volume. if i was in an encloed room, i think it can be a speaker phone.

Actually that the was first thing i noticed about the first handset i had (with Vodafone), even before i noticed the hissing/background noise. You really had to press the handset into your ear to hear people, but there wasn't any problems with the ring tone volume, hopefully my new handset will be fault free...

Are you guys noticed that the ringtone and calls are from the same speaker?
I think that's too loud to be a handset, too soft to be a phone ring

Try to hold the phone a bit down by your ear. I noticed that the speaker was put fairly high up on the T610. I had the same problem in the beginning.
Cheers
