Heh Yo.

I'm very interested in getting a T610. But I have a few questions that 99% of sales people just wouldn't be able to answer... So pehaps you guys could...

a) I have a dual sim adapter for a T68i. Will this work on a T610?

b) Will my T68i handsfree work on a T610?

c) Will Float's Mobile Agent (http://www.eflame.com/fma/) work with the T610?

d) I have a data cable (serial) that works fine with my T68i? Will it work with the T610?

e) I'll be getting my T610 from T-mobile (UK). Any tips or advice on how to get a bug free model?

THANKS IN ADVANCE - WHOOOO!

A) Doubtfull, new sim connection type (very similar to nokia's)

B) Definatly (even MP3 one)

C) Just tried and it BT'd all my contacts in so I assume so

D) Probably, I suppose it's the t28 cable?

E) Yeah ask them to put a sim into it and ring the voicemail, Mine is a hisser, and they are awaiting new stock, tmobile have told them to continue to sell hissers, and they will change them over later when/if customer complains, your looking for a 03W23 or later badged model (battery compartment next to serial number) my TMobile shop (cov) is getting some more in Thursday, and he will call me if there is any non hissers.

Hope that helps

Well that's all excellent news

Apart from the dual sim thang. If I'm to get the phone, I *NEED* dual sim capabilities.

Any idea where I could find a dual sim adapter?

Assuming this is the sort of dual sim we are talking about... I don't think the problem will be the dual sim thing itself its just very very tight in there and I doubt there would be any room to put much there. The T68i has a little more room.

Its so tight actually that it can be quite tuff to slide the back cover off the T610!

I went into a local Link store and they were kind enough to let me try my dual sim (Ghost sim) adapter.

NO CHANCE IN HELL IT WOULD FIT

So I guess I'm just gonna have to wait until a dual sim battery becomes available...

WHOOOO!

PS If anyone knows where I could get one...

Just a question about the dual sim adapter:
Every time I change my sim card, I loose all my sms's and the content of the call list (except the missed calls).
When it switches from one sim to the other one, do you loose your messages every time or is there something to prevent that?
Thanks!
