Bookmark topic
Just want to know if anyone bought non-hiss T610 in Singapore yet?
Is it the 2nd batch with Chinese Input?
What is the manufacturing date?
Anyone tried repairing the hiss batch at SE service centre yet? Did they lower the speaker volume and is it hiss-free now?

I asked at Singtel Hello shop a few days ago and they mentioned month end estimate. If this Saturday is real, it is good news...

the people in singtel, m1, starhub etc.
they are not supposed to disclosure so they always masked the truth a little... or give vague non-specific answers..
many times i asked them, they would tell different things.
so i get confused too.. now i just wait and see.
according to m1, they already ahve the 2nd batch in stock but not selling till "later".. and they are not sure when "later" is.
i'm eagerly waiting for the 2nd batch to start selling.
been holding back for too long.

singtel, M1 and starhub, these 3 telcos are communicating among themselves somehow. so the release dates will be the same for all of them.

maybe they cannot confirm 2nd batch sales starting date as they can't tell when they can finish selling off the 1st batch...

yupz that's what i thought too. its quite impossible for them to return the stocks back to SE. it would be very busy for SE to calibrate all of the remaining sets from the first batch.
or probably the other way round, when people buy it, they will get their customers the first batch one, if the customer knows about the hiss & problems, then they will give the problem free set?

I've spoken to a M1 salesman earlier today with regards to Chinese input T610/T618. He said next month, but ask me to come by again tomorrow and check out the Charlie's Angels edition of T610 to see if Chinese input is available on those models. I will post again when I go visit him again tomorrow
