Hi everyone. It's been a while since my last post, but I've been busy.
Anyway, it looks like we are finally entering an era of affordable wireless data. T-Mobile has begun offering what looks like a great deal for unlimited wireless internet/data transfer.
It costs only
$19.99/month for unlimited data if you add the service to an existing calling plan of $29.99 or more.
If you want the unlimited data account only (without voice) for an iPaq, Sidekick, or Blackberry, laptop pc with Merlin card, etc, you pay just
$29.99/month!
This is truly great news. It was only like a month ago when similar plans cost $90-100 per month.
So T-Mobile users, enjoy your new all-you-can-eat data plans.

Wow! Unlimited GPRS full internet? Not just wap? And is T-Mobile the isp? That would give dialup land-based isp big competition.

It looks like it really changed! I cut this from their web site:
T-Mobile Internet Unlimited
Unlimited
$0 per additional MB
$19.99
This is the add on price in adddition to your voice plan.
It has no other options shown. No price/MB.

I wish it were true GPRS access. The literature in my bill offers unlimited wi fi access in got spots. While this is a good thing, it has limited use, hardly a limitless web surf from anywhere :-(
Well, it was a nice dream. Prices are starting to fall.

It's real GPRS alright. I called them this morning and had them switch me over. It doesn't appear to include t-zone access though. When I go to the homepage I get a message that says I can try it for 30 days, after which it will cost $2.99.

I've been on the unlimited plan for 10 days now. Pay $19.99 flat fee, get full internet access. Use my P800 for downloading email, surfing full internet using both Opera and build in browser (been even downloading mp3s now
), and using WAP sites too. It's an amazing deal. Sign up for it before they realize that, hehe.

ok... but what about $0.20 per minute charges? I do not think I would want to pay $1 every 5 min for the so to say unlimited internet.
