Hi. New user.

I've just purchased a 2nd hand t68i phone. I have read there are different firmware versions of this phone. Mi phone has version R2A006 or something alike. Which version is the last one? Which changes over my version has the last one? Is it worth to upgrade? cos i've heard that i must carry my phone to SE and it's expensive to upgrade. My main complaint is that i found the phone slow. Is quicker the last version?

Thanks for your help.

Foralin.

When I received my repaired T68i last week, I've noticed they updated it with the new R8A015 firmware. But I immediately noticed that my display wasn't as clear as it used to be.
The contrast was very poor, and i found out that if you change the contast in the "service setting menu" (>*So now I can use two contast settings (in the "service setting menu" and the "normal" Display-> contrast menu) for an ideal contrast.

I also noticed that the lower corners of the screen are a little darker than the rest of the screen. Does anybody else have the same problem?

- I still have all my contacts, pics, messages and sounds after it was updated
- the new games are very cool!
- I didn't noticed any positive speed change when typing a message

cheerz,

Thanks.

A lot of info on that thread, perhaps too much. But i think everyone speaks about new features from versión R7A. Which had been the changes in between R2A and R7A in addition to the games of R8A.

Thanks again.

Thanks Erik.

I find your info very interesting. Only a question. Did you upgrade from R7A or from a previous versión?

Thanks again.
