Hardware version, week of manufacture, network version/SIM free, country ????
Not had mine restart yet, touch wood. Seems remarkably stable for the first public firmware revision - I'm impressed!

Quite an early one then, but still not heard of anyone else with this problem. Perhaps faulty, can you get it changed for a newer one?
Hardware version is under battery, R2A for instance. Mine's R2C, i've heard of upto R2E before the newer R3A (which is supposedly the fully fixed version without hiss.)

i think the java program you downloaded to your t610 was not customised for the phone. its either generic or for other brands/models.
you may think its still java but the core package or so-called API is different on every brand of mobile with Java.

about the ramdom restarting problem... never heard before, u'd better take it to the customer service center...
the JAVA problem, well, not all JAVA apps are make for T610, and not all of them are SAFE, many of them are buggy, even dangerous...so if your phone hangs up when running some JAVA apps, it's probebly the problem of the app.

My T68i (early firmware) have been rock steady untill I installed
a new MMS profile then it started to reboot and stuff.
But ones I removed that wap profile and installed a new one
its been stable again.
Perhaps you installed something in your phone too.
Could always try a master reset.
