The branded Italian Voda T610 has a major problem: the "C" mute button has been disabled. Is there any other way to mute the phone?

That doesn't sound right to me, my t610's on Voda as well and the 'C, works fine...
Are you sure the phones not faulty??

Tried a second phone at the Voda shop: same problem. When the C button is pressed the same menu of the off line mode appears.

Sound's like Voda have changed their branding software in Italy!?
I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't mute the phone easily, I think I'd have to return the phone and get it on a different network...
