hi..i bought a t610 last week. and just found out yesterday that a 4kb picture (checked it in "picture info") actually takes 41kbs of the t610 memory?!?? the t610 only got 2mb of shared memory..that's already small enough without this prob..
what is wrong? i've checked it in my friend's 7650, and it really is only 4kb...
anyway, i dunno if this had been posted before..plz forgive me if it had..

rumours rumours rumours..I wish people would stop spreading them!! 99% of rumours turn out to be false anyway...thats the whole nature of rumours.

Wasn't this problem explained some time ago? Since t610 don't have enough power to resize the pics realtime, it makes several versions of it (one fo preview, one for caller pic, one for fullscreen...etc.) or am I completely lost here?

i mean, this is a big prob..at least they could put an external memory slot. even the old siemens sl45 had one.

Just upload your pics and stuff to wap.sonyericssonmobile.com (wap&web)... You can upload your melodies, pics, themes etc. to that site... just save the ones on the phone that you are using... eg. I am saving them on my pc; and for 3 months I'm using only the matrix theme, the matrix screensaver and the bomb tune... The others are BOTH on my PC and the sonyericsson site so I don't have to be with my PC everytime but when I'm on my PC I can d/l them simply with bluetooth and when I'm out I can simply enter my userid and password and d/l them using gprs...
PS: I know that lots of you will ignore this stuff AGAIN but I just felt like writing again...
PS-2: I'm not using a 610, I'm doing these stuff with my 68i...
