Anyone managed to source some sort of remote control for playing MP3's on the P800? It is very awkward to drive the player, stop, start go back a track etc. With the flip closed I have to make the following entries to change a track. * followed by OK to unlock. Press Thumbwheel once and go to applications. Press Thumbwheel to go to Applications. Press 2 in applications list to go to audio. Press menu key, press 3 or 4 to go previous or back or use stylus. What a hassle. The MP3 player on my T68I was quite a bit easier than this. I am doing all of this on a bicyle by the way (phone attached to handlebars using the Krussel Multiadapt holder with their clip). The Sony Clie has a fantastic remote built into the headphones. Any chance on the P800?

you could try using oggplay which has a flip closed mode ...

good :

saves a lot of space on your duo due to smaller file size
has flip closed mode - easy to use jog dial to move between tracks

bad :

some crackles when you use other apps whilst oggplay is running
you have to convert mp3's to ogg vorbis format ...

oggplay :

to convert mp3 to ogg :

http://www.dbpoweramp.com

you'll need the convertor (best to get the file browser add-in as well) and the ogg codec.

more info about ogg :

have fun
