Hi,
Should my partner and I be able to exchange pictures and tones using IR on our T610 / Nokia 7210? I'm having trouble, firstly, can I confirm that the IR port is at the top of both phones, as I realise that you have to line up the IR ports. I have managed to send a contact from my phone to his, but only once. Every other time, we get connection failed, even though IR is active on both phones. Also Should the 7210 be able to view pics from my T610 (albeit in lower quality haha), and should we be able to exchange tones? I've still got my old T68i, so I suppose I could do further testing with that.

Also, Nokia 7210 cannot receive, but 7650 can send and receive. IR port in 7210 is on top, but I don't know where it's in the T610, look up the user manual.

Yes I can confirm the above info.
Nokia's 7210,7250,6610 (and a zillion other similar models as usual with Nokia) cannot send/receive anything besides vcards.
Not even between same models. Only with the suite mentioned above through a PC.

Hello, please help...dont know what's wrong with the PC Suite for Nokia 7210, i installed it and nothing happened...I have a data cable connected to the phone and the PC doesn't detect it...what do u think is the problem?..THANKX
