Hi does anyone know what the software is called that enables the mac to use Irda because I have just brought a USB-IRDA adapter and the disc did not come with software for the mac but it says it can be used by a mac, I have heard of a program called Hotsync but I do not know where to find it PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

hotsync is a palm pilot IR utility... I got it from handspring's support / software site (google)..

if your IR hardware didn't come with software, check the manufactuer's website..

other than that, check the system properties applet for the Network section, and see if it lists your IR device along with modem/ethernet/airport etc.

if you're using OS9, my condolences.. i avoid anything less than OSX like Win98/ME

Once you get your IR device working with the phone, PLEASE let me know what software you intend to use with it... I've been trying to find software to grab pictures from my T300, but I've been unable to find any.
