would any suggestions on a forum such as this help any?
i was just thinking about the phone, why have they changed the texting keys? they were perfect! i find it a hassle where the space is now, and 0 should still cycle through the words.
also, up shouldnt just connect to gprs (or is that just on Voda handsets) and on the standby menu, where have 'recieve item', 'post note' and the other shortcut gone??

All Vodafone customisations matey..on original SE phones, up on the joystick loads the internal SE page and doesn't connect to GPRS. The "More" software key (replaced by the Live button on Voda phones) also has option to turn on Bluetooth/Infrared and post notes.
Ahhhh I'm so glad I got a SIM-free phone

Why don't you get yourself an unbranded T610 instead and although you have to learn a couple of new keys for texting compared with the T68/T68i surely thats a small price to pay for everything else you get in the T610.
Things in life do change and you can't really expect everything to be the same for ever.
I know I occassionaly press the wrong key for space etc but its corrected in a couple more key presses and its getting less and less frequent...

the branded one was free on an upgrade (?) from the T68 i got a year and a half ago, true, the keys are not a major problem, the firmware, however, is increasingly annoying, as the menu is so non-descript
