Suppose I haven't explained my question exactly, because I cannot understand nobody hasnt answered......

With a voice system I have to input some numbers during a call. I cannot make a fixed number input because the system I call will ask me for random number every call. Need to input them with the keyboard, but where the keyboard numbers give their MF tone at each number.

Please!

I use the flip (hard) keyboard.
I suppose there should be some setup to do somewhere but cannot find that option.

I'm not idiot. Pushing the numbers does NOT give an MF tone to the system connected to.

Doesn't anybody have this problem? No one uses the p800 to call his bank?

I think the answers you've been getting may seem a little unhelpful because the functionality you're asking for does normally work as it should: I regularly use my P800 to call my voicemail and my bank and have no problem sending DTMF tones simply by pressing the buttons on the keypad.

I can't think of any setting which would change this, so I can only assume you have a problem with your phone. Have you checked with SonyEricsson or one of their Service Centres?

Good luck in getting it working.
