In the official sony ericsson website, it says one of the features of the phone is EMS (Enhanced Messaging Service). Can anyone explain how this service works and what is the difference betweeb SMS and MMS? and where can i find this service on my phone?
I am guessing though that EMS is the long message ability (sending a long SMS with seperate two messages)

The
T68 FAQ has an answer to this...
"EMS stands for Enhanced Messaging Services and it allows you to personalize your phone by enabling you to; add pictures, animations and sound to text messages. It also allows you to chose your own ring signal, background picture, attach pictures to names in the phone book; and send & receive EMS messages."

yeah, thats what the excerpt from the faq I pasted above says... then it waffles on about seemingly unrelated stuff about ring tones and pictures in phonebook and I don't know why they included that in the EMS description as it doesn't have anything to do with it!

EMS pictures and sounds are very simple, such as the black and white pictures in the T68i/T300/T610 etc and the beeping tones.
MMS supports full colour pictures and midi tones.
