I wouldn't be at all surprised if Phonebook, Advanced, send all, via Bluetooth didn't work.

Haven't tried it myself though.

OK - Now I'm ready to transfer all my "old" data from the T68 - but - HOW can I use the menus on the 610 without a SIM?

The SIM is inserted in the old T68 - cannot be split in two ..

Any ideas?

Borrow someone's sim. The data transfers to the phone memory.

Note that all your smses will be feleted if you insert another SIM. I learnt it the hard way :-( This message was posted from a T68i

I have never understood *why* the phones are useless without a SIM. I cannot immagine any single technical reason at all..

Anyway - Guess I have to do it the "old" way - use paper and pencil, write down all addresses I need ,... %¤@"#

Should be as easy as "copy all to SIM" - and that *all* attributes from the phone's list got copied - and not only the attributes supported by the SIM's...

It would also be of some help - if the names listed with more than 1 number DID NOTgot duplicated - as they do today... 90% of all my contacts are listed with at least 2 numbers, over 50% with 3 ...

Can you not back-up the files to a PC, then restore them to the new phone?
