hi y'all!
i've put up a small wap page to make it possible for people to download themes, ringtones & pics for the t610...

i still just have 1 major problem: whenever someone wants to download a .mid or a .thm file, the t610 says "not found" allthough the files are there! links are also all ok... maybe someone out there knows how to figute out the problem! thx

address: meineseite.i-one.at/enigma/wap

cheers

The problem is that you have a # in the filename, when you link to the files from your page ,for example Copacabana#1.mid, the web client tries to go to page Copacabana and then to the place 1.mid on that page.
If you just remove # from the filenames it should work fine.

Is it a .mid that you have altered on your PC in any way?

Sometimes alterations (volume increases, compression etc) can mean a phone won't play it.

ok, here's the listing for "item not supported, cannot be downloaded":

.imy _error message
.mid _works
.thm _error message
.mpn _error message
.jar _works

funny, that the things programmed for t610 show the error

i didn't alter the files in any way... i mean the funny thing, is that especially the original theme files show the error... sounds pretty fishy :-/

maybe i forgot to take do some settings in the wap-file or something, i have no clue but i don't think so b/c midis download well...

the only possibility could be that the files are corrupt or something.. i downloaded them at my610.com

seach for 'mime types' on the forums, which will help support the answer!

there is nothink wrong with the files, I assume. I got the same messages when setting up my site, but after adding the mime types they worked.

if you are with a free host, then try to contact them see if they add them, else if you are with a paid host, as I am, you can add them your self.s!
