Hello all:
I'm almost done with my cronometer, it's now in the test fase for the "stable" version .You can download it or install via OTA at
http://xptm.com.sapo.pt/xjCrono/xjCrono.html .
I'll like very much if you guys could test it. These are the new features:
- corrected a bug with the time counting, it's now accurate (as far as i can test)
- "one-hand" operation, the FIRE, DOWN and UP buttons (Jog-Dial Enter, Down and Up) now work as "Start/Stop", "Mark" and "Reset"
- larger on-screen "Start/Stop" "Mark" and "Reset" buttons so you can use your finger to press then
- historic of "Mark" times
- and a background in a beautiful SE P800 light blue
It's now prepared to work in hundredths and thousandth(!) of a second, and it keeps the "Marks" history for future exporting (it appears only 8 Marks on screen but all are kept internally).
So PLEASE test it if you can and PLEASE send me some feedback and/or sugestions

I don't want just a stopwatch. I want a timer that goes of like an eggclock. Set it to 9 mins and it beeps after 9mins etc. just like with the T68i. Will try your app when I get home. I never bring the usb cradle to work.

Agree with Lordmike. Also, why no 'h' in c(h)ronometer? Is that deliberate?

Hi:
Thanks for the reply. Crono has no "h" cause i'm Portuguese, and in Portuguese it spells "cronómetro". But that's a detail...
I'm going to see that alarm option, i don't know what kynd of "noises" i can do in J2ME, but i know it's not much...
Thanks again...

Well try using the sound files already in the phone. I mean like if I download a mid file I should be able to use it.

@xptm: What language are you writing it in? Codewarrior? Appforge etc.?

@aZooZa
I'm using J2ME MIDP 1.0, with Sun ONE Studio 4 Mobile Edition. It's free, unlike CodeWarrior...
@Lordmike
MIDP 1.0 doesen´t have access to external sounds, only to some default sounds related to different AlamTypes. I think MIDP 2.0 does support other sounds, but P800, for the time being, only supports MIDP 1.0
