Hiyas,
Right! Need some advice from fellow Orange users who have signed up for the 3 months free GPRS email promotion..
Just spoke to a very helpful guy on 156, who has set it up for me.
What he said was:
He would have to disconnect my GPRS 15MB bundle, as the promotional 30MB email bundle takes over this.
He said I could use this 30MB data per month, for internet use and not just POP3 email.. He said they don't promote it for this use, but it's a by-product of the offer, as they cant tell what data has come from where, as it's all through the same APN (Orange GPRS).
I can still have my Access pack for WAP usage.
When the 3 month period is over the system will automaticaly put me on the basic 'pay as you use' GPRS setup, which I can have changed back to my old plan.
Has what this guy said been correct, or is it in any way bullshit? ^_^.
Sounds like a good offer to me though!

Good news!
Orangeman, I had the plan changed today about an hour ago, today is also my bill date.. He said it should have been changed in time before my bill is printed.. Hope so 'cos don't want to be charged another month for 15MB!
What ya think?

Some adviser on 156 told me the 3 months free allowance was 10MB a month?!
Where did u lot hear 30MB? Unless this is some other promo for business customers?
I also saw my 2 wks bill, and its only stuff accessed thru the WAP account (Built-In Browser) and not the Internet account (Eg. Opera/IMs).
I had 8-9MB on WAP for free and 2MB on GPRS that I had 2pay for.

Yep it's meant for pop3 email only via GPRS, but can be used for GPRS internet as well.. They dont advertise this fact though! 30MB/month is the fair use policy with it. Seems fair to me ^_~ . ~Eva

@boyi - theres no catch ^_^ . after the 3 months have ended they move you to the basic GPRS bundle. I made sure I found out there wasnt a catch! Good luck finding a rep who even knows what it is though, best off calling 156. ~Eva

THANKYOU, everyone, i have had a very confusing time this week as Orange 156 told me ALL GPRS web/wap internet use use was free up to 10mg a month for three months, so i started viewing web/wap pages for free (i am not a GPRS bundle subscriber) only to have problems connecting, so when i next spoke to them , i was told, "NO NO NO" its only for wap. but they said a mistake had been made & they would refund me, but only use it for wap, when i got the bill, all GPRS use had NOT been charged for, how the f**k am i supposed to know what the f**king deal is now peole are saying all GPRS @ 30mb per month, how silly of Orange to make it so hard for their workers, they are falling apart aren't they.
It seems the policy now is to confuse us so much that we can no longer keep track of our spending.
