Voice mail service is expensive and it takes a lot of time to listen to your messages press this press this then press this .........
I am looking for a answering machine that can record my messages in my memstick and even i can listen to live recording (speak phone)

And that can transfer my call to to voice recorder if i dont want to listen .
Can anyone help .........!

Symbianware have an app that does this, but they haven't ported it to the P800 yet.

Try their website and harrass them to port it.

Sorry to say it, but it's not possible since there is no recording posibilities for the speaker!!! It records from the micophone in the bottom of the phone, and it will be to low with to much noise, if it should pickup voices from the speaker on top of the phone...

Sry...

Umm, but surely on the 7650 and 3650 the speaker and the microphone are not close together?

If this were the case you would have a lot of feedback!

Symbianware have an app for the Nokias which does this, how do they do it then?

I presumed they recorded the voice via internal voice recording.

Guys, if the p800 can receive the call, then it can record the call like the t68i. The program the nokia phones can use, takes advantage of the record function in the phone to answer the call, playing a recording, and then recording what the caller says. This can surely be done on the p800 This message was posted from a T68i

Are you sure about that? To record from the speaker they would need a mic next to the speaker, which would create feedback.

To answer the other question, the P800 cannot do a voice recording of an ongoing call like the T68i can, an unfortunately missing feature

@JohnN4
Sure, I think it could record a call, but you need an answering machine voice which plays before the recording starts. And I don't think that can be done on the P800.
