Ok I did it the other night and I can say that I am not best pleased with the outcome. It seems that the sync software from p800 to outlook or windows address book is very poor indeed.
Here is what I have to sort out this morning:
Tasks: All the tasks are still there but they all have a priority on 3???
Contacts: Some contacts duplicated and on every contact the persons name is added as a extra note at the bottom. Also all the folders that the contacts were in are not saved so I have to reassign them all.
Calendar: Every reminder I had on the phone has now turned into a 30 min appointment but will still repeat every year???
Jotter: All Jotter entries are fine
This in my book is unacceptable! Has anyone else had these problems or can people sync the calendar and keep a reminder as a reminder?

Nope... haven't had those. My prob yesterday was that I emptied my contacts in the computer completly and then did a synch, because I wanted a fresh list in the computer. Anyway.. all my contacts where removed in the phone instead and the settings where correct. I know this because I did a restore and synched again. Then it worked. Good thing my backup was only 3 days old.. only a few progs to remove though and lost some pictures *hmm*.
